   Kate Bush, born on July 30, in Bexleyheath, Kent, England, was huge in her homeland in her heyday, but never did grab the brass ring in the North American market, registering just four charted singles on Billboard's Pop Hot , the best of which was 's Running Up That Hill which managed a # 30 in September/October on EMI American b/w Under The Ivy/5.

   "Delius" is Bush’s tribute to English composer Frederick Delius. The subtitle, " Song of Summer ", comes from one of Delius’ works, and from a BBC film Bush saw about the composer's life. Again, it's of note that the album version is different in that the previous track " Babooshka " segues into it, whereas the single B-side version begins Genre: Art pop, folk.

   Apr 26,  · This album could be considered The Dreaming as a toddler; the ideas are there but haven't been completely developed weadisnimisdiafidetilisundrecon.infoinfo for Ever was the first album that Kate really had control over and it straddles the line between the catchy pop songs of her first two releases and the arty unconventional songs on her next two.
